Eric Wooten

Eric C. Wooten earned his Ph.D. in the department of Molecular and Cellular Biology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Before joining the Huggins lab, he was a postdoctoral fellow in Michael Christman's laboratory at Boston University School of Medicine, working on chromatin structure and modifications subsequent to DNA damage; while at BU, Eric also analyzed genomic copy number variation using data from the 100k genome scan of the Framingham Heart Study cohort. He is currently studying genomic structure and variation and their association with both common and rare diseases in human populations.
